Once when my family was visiting the house for a family dinner Uncle Joe told us about how they were raising some chickens in the back yard.  He sounded pretty proud of the set-up.  He told us how one day one of the girls had let the chickens out because "the rooster was bothering them."  Then of course he said "That's the whole point - he's supposed to bother them."  I wasn't that old at the time but even I figured out what was so funny.

It was just one more thing that he seemed to love about his house and life in the country with his amazing wife and kids.
