It was such sad news to me when I learned yesterday from Cara about your dad. I developed a strong affection and friendship for him in the limited time I knew him. I frequently share stories of my visit to your home one Thanksgiving recalling how warm your dad treated me, taking me out to the best barbacue in town, his working place and sites like the Opera House and garbage dump.: ). We cooked together and shared similar stories. He was a smart good humble man. Please give my condolences to your mom and brother. We spoke a number of times and he always conveyed his strong love for you. Much of him lives on through you and your brother. You will make him proud. Non the less it's hard loosing a father.
