Mr. Joseph L. Jones, Sr. (Staff Sergeant Retired) of Columbus passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. He was 80 years of age and resided at #8 Elba Court.  

The Homegoing Celebration of Love for Mr. Jones will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with interment in Main Post Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Rev. Dr. Marcus Lovelace, pastor will officiate.

The visitation will begin Thursday at 3:00 p.m. with a Family Hour from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The cortege will depart from the residence Friday at 10:00 the morning of the service.
