Way too soon

December 7, 2009

Joe Joe, that's what your mother and I called you. You had another  fifty years to go, what went wrong? There are a lot of questions and too few answers.

I remember teaching you how to drive, I think you found every pot hole there was to hit. The time you were little and stuck your finger into the third seat latch lift hole, and couldn't get it out.

Meeting you at Harrisburg Airport when you flew in from South Korea. You liked to fix things and you were very good at woodworking and computers, you could fix most anything.

We have a million memories of you and even though you are gone, they will always be with us as will you.

Mom & Dad

One of the best sons in the world

December 2, 2009

Joe Joe we knew you from the moment of your birth untill the day you passed on to a better world. We remember everything about you, things you were not supposed to do but did anyway, you and your brother playing and going places with us and the one time at Ocean City when you were small and on the beach and turned around to see a wave coming in fast, your little legs ran like the wind to keep from getting swamped. In the pool at the Dunes with a life jacket on and so very very  young, you had no fear of anything

It's little things like that that we will always remember.

I would gladly have traded places with you.

Way too soon son way too soon, you had so much more to do in life.
