Joe's Life

April 16, 2010

Joseph David Moglovkin was born on January 7, 1970, at Haverford Hospital in Havertown, PA, to Dolores and Marshall Moglovkin, and his big brother Greg Farmer, who was 12 at the time.

His Baby Sister Michol was born on January 13, 1972 to complete the family.

The Family moved to Morton, PA July 1972, their home for the next twelve years.

Joey participated in (Burger King sponsored) Pitch, Hit and Run competition in 1980, and placed fourth in the Nation!  I have his trophy, medal and certificates, along with photos of him at the Vet, with the 1980 Phillies.

He was Captain of his Little Flyers hockey team, when they still played at Radnor Rink, winning many trophies and awards for his skills.

Joe was a member of the Springfield High School Class of 1988- he played catcher for the Varsity Baseball team, and also played Football and Wrestled, and played on the Hockey team.

Joe's baseball skills took him to college at Delaware County Community College, Cecil County Community College, and Norfolk State University.

Our Mom Dolores passed away on January 10, 1991 at the young age of 54.

Joe became an Uncle to our nephew Benjamin James Farmer on December 25, 1991.

Joe worked as a Lead Technician for Bell Atlantic, then Verizon, for five years.

Joe proudly served as an usher in my wedding to Shawn Kaeser on June 13, 1998.

Our Dad Marshall passed away on January 19, 1999 at the age of 64.

Joe was thrilled to become an Uncle to his niece Erin Patricia Kaeser on September 10, 2000.

Joey passed away in his sleep while visiting friends in North Jersey, on April 29, 2001, at the young age of 31.

Our Joey became an Uncle to Triplet nieces and a nephew on what would have been his 35th birthday- January 7, 2005-  Angela Dee, Sarah Grace and Joshua Joseph- five weeks early.  I know in my heart their arrival on his birthday had to be orchestrated by Joe from his lofty position! They will always know their special connection to Uncle Joey

Not a day goes by that we don't think of you, Joe!  We love you and miss you so much!
