This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Joseph McCoy, 61 years old, born on November 22, 1947, and passed away on August 29, 2009. We will remember him forever.
Dear Dad, Hard to believe it has been 9 years. I don't believe there is anything I can say that I haven't already said but life is not the same without you. You are and were the most wonderful friend, Father, and mentor a daughter could have. I've needed your sound advice a million times over the years but I also know I must learn, and am still learning, to stand on my own two feet. I repeat your phrase often, because it is true "If we could only shoot our since he loves to Golf. Anyone, including the State Police/ Co-Workers, second shot first." I now teach your Grandson Matthew the same phrase Marines, neighbors, friends and family were BLESSED to have known you. I think of you every day, you had to go home to God sooner then we expected but know I take peace in my heart knowing without any doubts we will meet again. My love and admiration has not diminished over time. I Love and miss you as much today as I did during my time you were alive, well and with us in person. I love you Dad.
Happy Birthday Dad. You are my heart alway's and forever. I'll see you again. You are in my thoughts and heart everyday since God called you home. Loving daughter, Joan
