This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Joseph Ramon "Ray" Adamson, 88 years old, born on June 25, 1923, and passed away on January 24, 2012. We will remember him forever.
Daddy, It hurts as much today as it did a year ago. You are thought of daily, not just by me but by your family friends and anyone who knew you. You are missed terribly and will forever live in my heart. Such an amazing man.....
Dad, It has been a whole year since you left this world and entered into a kinder, gentler place. I think of you every day, dad. You gave so much to all of us and made this earth a happier place- I love and miss you so much and see mom's love for you on her face each day. Your smile and laugh will be in my heart always. I love you.
Happy Birthday, Dad! I love and miss you so much! I know you are with all of us and watching over mom. I can pretty much guess how you are spending your birthday - I bet the fishing is great in Heaven! You are always in my thoughts and my heart, Dad.
My memories of Ray are of the holidays and big, wonderful family celebrations. Those celebrations are the ideal childhood memories of the holidays. Big bear hugs, laughter, and enough food to feed an army. I remember Ray and La Nore’s old house with the wonderful organ in the basement. I remember dancing under the deck one time standing on top of Ray’s feet. My thoughts and prayers are with y
So now they're reunited
Smiling down from up above
As fondly we remember
The old house they filled with love
How even through the hard times
They were close as close could be
Just like the kindred spirits
They will forever be
Smiling down from up above
As fondly we remember
The old house they filled with love
How even through the hard times
They were close as close could be
Just like the kindred spirits
They will forever be

Dear La Nore, DeAnne, Lorna, Chris and Scott:
My brothers and sisters and I have the fondest memories of our Uncle Ray. He made growing up in an extended, loving family the best! We looked forward to seeing him at all the holidays and the Fourth of July! He was always so sweet, tender. Since my move to California, I haven't seen him much, but his life is worthy of celebration

Dear Ray,
My first memory of meeting you was in 1976 at the family reunion in Glendale, AZ when I was 8 years old. (I know you remember me before that though…) I was actually a little frightened by you at first. You were such a big guy, with a big booming voice and lots of dark dark hair. But, then you smiled and laughed, and I knew you were just a big old Teddy Bear! My mom has told me how you and La Nore took her in as a child for awhile when my Grandmother was ill. I will always be grateful for that. I am also truly grateful for your service to our country during World War II. I will miss that smile, and that laugh, and your “Up and Adamson” way of life. You were my “Colorado” Grandpa, and I will always miss you. Peace be with you. With Love,Jennifer
