Joe Rueschenberg, 56, of Inverness, passed away on June 12, 2023, in Birmingham, AL. Joe was born on July 28, 1966, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Eldon Anthony and Charlotte Schleif Rueschenberg.
Joe was a charitable member of the Catholic Church and a longtime resident of Inverness. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Joe is survived by his wife Jennifer and daughters Bailey, Brianna, and Cameron, his mother, Charlotte Schleif Rueschenberg, sisters Jane (Brian) Hake and Lori Rueschenberg, and nieces Cecilia Hake Sirovina and Lauren Hake. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Anthony Rueschenberg, and grandparents Ida and Joseph Rueschenberg, and Genevieve and Ethelbert Schleif.
Visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on June 22, 2023, at 2 pm, with the service to follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Joe's name. Donations can be made at donate.cancer.org or by calling 1-800-227-2345.
