Joseph Romagnoli Repici age 87 of South Philadelphia passed away on Monday January 25, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

He battled cancer until his mother Teresa and siblings called him home.  The man, the myth, the legend owned and operated a successful gas station/car wash/service station/ crab shack in North Philly, his passion.   He devoted Sundays to watching NFL games, enjoyed hating on Philly teams, watching Food Network and going out to eat but not spending a lot of money.

He is survived by his sister Rita , brothers in law Nick & Bud, ex wife Marice Davis, nieces/nephews and all of his beloved Philly family & customers who will miss him immensely.

Funeral mass will be held at Saint Denis Roman Catholic Church in Havertown, PA on Saturday February 20th, 2021 at 10am.

Shucky Ducky,

You will be truly missed and will live in our hearts forever... Your family choose the perfect song to reflect your life story. You always did things “YOUR WAY!” Who else is going to unapologetically speak their mind out loud, order a rare burger (almost cold in the center) with a slice of cheese and pickles on the side with a cup of coffee at a diner; and then send back that same cup of coffee and say out loud to the waitress "would you get me a fresh cup of hot coffee please, because this coffee taste like dish water!" LOL!! We always put our heads together and managed to figure things out around the store, but you/we couldn't figure out how to explain to some of your customers "how many crabs were in a dozen and/or a half of dozen." The icing on the cake would be that some of those same customers would ask you for a "bakers dozen." LOL! There are so many fond memories of you that I/we will cherish forever. Take your rest Joe, your work here on earth is done. Please kiss sister Dee for us♥️

Love always,
Char & The baby (Nae)
