Fond memories

July 29, 2022
I'll always have mine, as I do for Teresa and Antonio too!  Joe helped out so many people in various ways, well respected, reserved, and did what he was going to do .. Cut hair .. until he couldn't do more! Yes he really liked "the track" and Everybody was his cousin ;) Joe will be well remembered by All.  In checking through the pics, how adorable are the 2 pics of Papa and Antonio when he was a little boy! The wedding pic Is Outstanding of you both, Teresa!
I'm sorry for your loss, Tre and Antonio. I know it would sink a big hole in your heart. With time, it will mend. So anyway, I wanna know, Whose ever going to replace Joe's other specialty ... when he would say and do, you wanna Cappuccino? You'd be a fool not to except! They were the best and so beautiful!!
Your in my prayers, Tre and Antonio .. and I'm sorry to you all for Joe's loss.
Many prayers going up.

I remember following Joe through each of his changes in location up to and including the Glen Ellyn location of Linea. Joe gave me my first haircut nearly 50 years ago when he propped me up on top of 5 phone books and arranged my hair for and attended my wedding, as well. My whole family has been loyal Linea customers from the beginning. Joe will forever be in my heart as will Theresa and Antonio.
Love to you always,
Heather Buccola

The best

I started working at Linea when I was a teenager and I immediately took to Joe and Teresa. I remember feeling adopted by them - like they really took me under their wing - and I loved them immediately. Joe had a special way of teasing me so lovingly and looking out for me always. He always called me “trouble” and used to say that he was going to cut my hair off. He made me laugh so much.

He was happy to step away from anyone, even clients, to accept a hug and a kiss and I never missed giving him both when I came to the salon. When I went away to college he always asked about me. My sister would tell me constantly that he was checking in on me and wanted to know how I was. He tried to connect me with a professor he knew there and I even came to him for a reference to work at a salon in that area during the school year because he knew the owner - he knew everyone.

Simply put, Joe made me feel like family. He really was family to me and the whole Tristino family still is. He was so adored by everyone who knew him!! He had a unique way of making each individual person feel special. I don’t know how he did it. It seemed so effortless.

Joe you will be missed soooo dearly and I can’t wait to see yo in heaven someday.❤️‍
