It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we say "see you later" to a great man and a very loving father of 6 kids. (Bill) Joseph William Thompson) In his 91st year, passed away after a very tough, short struggle on May 30, 2021. 

A strong and dedicated man his entire life, finally gave way to go be with God and our mother (Ellen Ruth Thompson (re Swanstrom) who left us in 1999. Dad leaves behind 5 grieving children that love him deeply. Waiting for him on the other side is his only son Jeffrey Ward Thompson, whom we just lost in January, 2021. Left behind are his daughters, Sherry Drozda(Terry pre-deceased)

Sue Wojcicki (Tom pre-deceased) Sandra Sanelli (Mario)

Stacey Dufton

Sindy Thompson (Cam Stableford)

His sisters Doris Gallant (Leo pre-deceased)

Josephine Bibby (Harry) (both pre-deceased)

His brother Bobby Thompson (pre-deceased)

And many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly, with his whole loving heart, and who loved him back equally.

Dad was a very proud member of his union of 65 years ( Iron workers 736 ).

Hard working, and get it done right attitude his entire life, with all he did.

 He will always be known for his quick witt and humor right till the very end. His love of animals and gardening was endearing. This man can grow a vegetable and flower garden that would blow your mind.. He loved his time in the garden.

A man of many talents and charm. Left this earth with his daughters by his side and the rooting of "God speed" by his entire family. A strong, independent, hard-working man his entire life is now free to be with our mom, brother, and eternal family. There are many deceased loved ones dad could not wait to say hello to again. He will be going fishing with his dad (our grandpa) asap. We will miss you dad with our whole hearts. Give mom and Jeff a huge hug for us all. We love you, God Speed. And see you on the other side. ❤
