ForeverMissed
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Josephine Lucille Keller, who passed away peacefully in her home on October 27. She was born on October 18, 1946 in Somerville, NJ and grew up in the small, quaint town of Milltown.

Known as “Jo” by her family and friends, she was a beloved wife of 53 years to husband Bernie, as well as a devoted mother and doting grandmother.  Josephine’s life revolved around her love of family and the importance of maintaining strong connections to those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.  Josephine especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and readily volunteered to babysit at any time. She was famous for her meatballs, which were guaranteed to draw family to the dinner table.

Josephine is survived by her husband Bernie and her three children:  daughter Sandra Keller-Hojecki and her husband William Hojecki, daughter Debbie St. Onge, and son Christopher Keller and his wife Jamie as well as four grandchildren: Bianca and Austin St. Onge and Wyatt and Nolan Keller. Josephine is  predeceased her parents Marie and Agostino Bianca and her sister Lucille Rosen and is survived by her brother Dan Bianca and his wife Terry.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, November 1, from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm and again on Tuesday morning, November 2, from 9:30-10:30 am at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME,63 N. To my beloved mom,
You will be missed more then words can say. As a child I watched your mom devote her life to her family and most of all to her grandchildren. You truly followed in her footsteps. Mom, you never asked for anything but always gave your everything even when you weren’t always feeling well.  I will always treasure the memories and never forget all the help you gave me. You always put everyone before yourself. You put your life on hold to help me with my children when I needed you most. Bianca and Austin are a product of your love and guidance through the years. I am so blessed to have had you as a mom. You were our rock and the glue that held us all together. Mom, I love you so much and am so sad that you had to leave us. Your absence will be felt forever but you will live forever in our hearts. Thank you for all the memories and love you’ve given us. Mom, Rest In Peace. Love you.

I will forever miss my beloved wife Josephine, having spent our lives together for nearly fifty-four years. She was my loving partner and my rock. We shared both good times and bad, that's what marriage is all about. We were blessed with three wonderful children, who have been very supportive in this time of grief and sorrow. Josephine devoted much time to our grandchildren, whom she loved very much as well.
My happy memories of our lives together will always be cherished and never be forgotten. May my beloved wife Josephine Rest in Peace until we meet again!

To the mother I wish I had,

I will miss you so. I will never, ever forget the kind, unconditional love you showed me in my lifetime, which you so eloquently taught to your children, and consider them my designated siblings for life. You had the capacity and compassion to accept me for who I was, even as young as I was when I first met you. The news of your passing saddened me, but I do know, in some way, you will be watching over me. I cherish that thought so much.

And when I eat an awesome meatball, I will always think of you. (not that anyone else's meatballs would be better than yours but, yes, I can first-hand vouch that the statement is true that your meatballs are awesome! If I were at the house, I was one of the MANY that tried to park themselves first at the table for them)

It comforts me to know that you are now at peace. And always remember that, no matter what, I will always have your back and run down that street after them when someone says, "Save it..." to you.

With all my respect, admiration, and love,
Sharon Rankin

We are so devastated to hear of Jo’s passing so unexpectedly. We’ve been friends over 50 years. Jo and jo share a name! Bob and Bernie have been best friends, and were Best Man at each others wedding. Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts. We wish comfort to all her family in this devastating time. She always shared how much her family meant to her. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Love Jo and Bob
