Joseph was a longtime Jackson resident, who was born and raised by immigrant Italian parents in East Harlem, NY. He was one of 6 siblings who lived through the Great Depression. One of his favorite pastimes was boxing and was preparing to fight in the welterweight division. As a young adult he was a Long Shoreman, a Journeyman and eventually became a member of the Local 400 IBEW Union. Joseph was a member of the Italian American Club, the Knights of Columbus, an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love of nature. 
Joseph's loved ones include his predeceased Sisters, Mary and Carmella (Dolly). Brothers Jerry (Sonny), and Danny. He leaves behind his two sisters, Betty and Lucy. His Daughter Erin and her Husband Rich and their three children, Aubrie, Brayden, and Hudson. His favorite Niece and friend Hollis, who he called his lifeline and numerous other Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves behind his best friends, John and Kenny, and countless others that he respected and loved.
