I am one of Josh's aunts on his mother's side of the family. One day in Walmart shopping for fabric (Des Moines) a lady came up to me and said, "I just have to tell you this: you have one of the most courteous young boys I have ever met! He is such a gentleman." I told her thanks, never knowing what is was that Josh had said or done for her......that was simply the way Josh was. My heart breaks knowing I won't get to see him grow up... to watch....and hear...all the wonderful things he would do. My sister (Josh's mom) died the Sunday after Thanksgiving in 2011 from cancer. To this day, I think her soul was wounded so deeply by what happened to Josh.
