My Miracle Child's Birth " Joshua "

April 18, 2013

On April 8, 1980 God blessed me with a beautiful son. He came into this world kicking and crying to let the world know of his arrival. Josh was 8 pds. 1/2 ounce and 18 1nches long with dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. The reason I called him my miracle child was when I was told I was expecting we were living in Rantoul Il. at Chanoute AFB and the doctor said my uterous was covered with fibroid tumors and I had a 50% chance of carrying him. He was a kicker the whole nine months and when he was born they could find no evidence of tumors anywhere. He was fighting against tumors and won. The doctors were amazed. At a few days old he was unable to hold down formula and we went thru thirteen different ones before we found one he could tolerate. Wouldn't you know it turned out to be the first one we tried {Prosoybe} . Then around two we were told he had massive hearing loss and would probable have a learning deficet which they called a sloe learner. Around two and a half here comes Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. He was covered in purple areas all over his little body. At four tubes were put into his ears due to constant ear infections and that is when Josh started being hyper. He was very active into everything and we were told he was hearing things for the first time and would soon slow down. {HA}. We also found out he loved his medicine so he found it no matter where we hide it and took it. He also loved his siblings medicine. At Clanton hospital a doctor tried to accuse me of trying to kill him. So I told the doctor to take him home with him and hide medicine and see how long it took him to find it. After seeing Josh run around the hospital the doctor declined that offer. Josh was around five at this time. With each year he just grew more handsome and loved his Can-Can. (Candy). He and Jennifer were always super close even tho they fought like cats and dogs at times as children do. Poor Flesscia it was a miracle she didn't kill those two and bury them in the backyard. My Mark was always very quite. I guess he just sit back and watched the others thinking " what a sight". All of a sudden  Josh was old enough to start kindergarden and that will be another story.
