My name is Jen and I was friends with Josh is High School. I dont have any photos of him but I do have great memories. He was really good friends with my cousin when I started school in Llano durun 6th grade. He was my first boyfriend...lol I guess if you want to call it that at our age. He was so fun to be around and always made ever one smile. Looking at all his family photos reminds me of how infectious his smile really was. Once we got into high school we kind of loat touch. He went his way and I went mine. After graduation I never saw or spoke to him again.  I do wished we could have stayed in touch. Knowing he became such an amazing person makes me smile. He was a go getter and dedicated. I am truly sorry for your family's loss. I can't fathom what you are going through. I hope you and your family find the strength in GOD to help heal.

(Thanks Jen, Josh actually talked about 6th grade and his first girlfriend lol. Kristen)

First off let me start by saying on behalf of my club G-ZER TRIBE BIKERS we send our prayers, respects and condolences to the family of josh!!! I personally didn't know him but he was a good friend of 1 of our bros... All and all he was a biker just like all of us... I've lost, we've all lost loved one's in some way or another... I lost my best friend to a motorcycle accident 4yrs ago n i was with him 2 minutes before he was killed by a girl in a car that wasn't paying attention and just pulled out in front of him... Atleast now he's in a better place watching me n taking care of me now... With all this said and done GOD BLESS US ALL...

This pic is from the time he went out as Crew Boss with the Mojave Greens.  We got this fire on Sugarloaf Mountain.  I signed him off as Incident Commander Type 5 on this one.

So I met Josh at the first Good Fire of the Summer up in Frazier Park.. We were assigned to run tenders in the same division. We met up for dinner at Base Camp and started talking.  2 minutes into the conversation I found out that the most important thing in his life was his family.. He immediately whipped out his pictures of his family.. Boasting about how smart and beautiful his wife was and how he had some amazing kids.. The second I learned about Josh was man did that guy need a shower.. He had been sleeping in the staging area for 5 days as the showers hadnt been set up yet... Well after he got a shower we worked and hung out together for the rest of the fire...For the rest of the summer we would call and see if either of us were on whatever current fire was going.. It sure was nice having a friend to hang out with working far from home and family all those days out.. Well during the fire season Josh kept saying how he wanted a project car and so the mission started to find him a cool car, but it had to have enough room for his family to cruise in...He kept finding these total junk piles or as I called them Joe Dirt rides.. He would always say its cool it I would drive it.. I was always happy to see WT112 pull into base camp, as I knew my buddy was there and He'd have a Copenhagen if I was short, an he would hop out of WT112 with a chew in his mouth his ball cap and his mirrored aviator sunglasses... The last time I saw Josh was a few weeks ago, Normal Josh conversation he spent 5 minutes talking about his wife and kids and then showing me pictures of his car getting done at the body shop.. The last thing he said was see ya on the next one!!! Im really going to miss Josh and am glad to have known him if only for a season.. Take care Bro and until we meet again.... Your ride is still Joe Dirt Style!!!!!
