Josie Apodaca age 80, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 1st, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. Josie passed in Las Vegas surrounded by her Daughter Malinda, Son Johnny and eldest Granddaughters Valerie, Jenny, Celina and Sonia.  Josie was Born on June 7, 1938.  Loving Mother to five children – Diana Cadenaz (deceased), Ruben Cadenaz, Malinda Cadenaz-Torrez, Johnny Cadenaz, Rosemary Cadenaz-Ojeda.  

Beloved Nana to 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Josie was married to Henry Cadenaz (now with Jesus) and grew up in Monterey County, living in Soledad. Gonzalez, and Salinas. Josie is a loving,caring, kind hearted Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Nina and she always made it known how much she loves her family.  Josie has also been very Blessed by the loving friendships of her Comadre's, Compadre's and many friends in her life.  She loved them dearly. 

 Josie's journey continued onto San Jose and Sacramento where she lived independently and also with her Daughter Malinda and son Johnny.  God continued to Bless her with many friends along the way.  She always shared a smile and conversation and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. 

 The memorial services will be held at Woodyard Funeral Home 395 East St. Soledad, CA 93960 at 10am Friday, February 22, 2019. Burial will be at the Gonzalez Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her Mother.
