Walt and family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I guess I’ve known you most of my life and especially the past thirty years. Joy and I would often chat and catch up on family or friends sometimes daily. Somewhere along the line there’s a relationship to my wife Barbara on the Strang side of things.
She loved her family so deeply and credited you all for having been her reason “to hang around as long as she could “
Take good care,
Paul and Barbara Showers

Mrs B will forever be missed. I talk about her often and will remember so many things about her. Just to name a few of my favorites. Her chocolate chip cookies, I don't think anyone could have loved them more than me lol. And she knew it too. Loved her jellies. Will always remember having strawberry shortcake for dinner lol. Will always be reminded of her everytime I see photo albums she made for me,the lil trinkets she had engraved for all my kids. The album's made from newspaper clippings for Michael and Dakota, my annual Christmas card w pics in it from the past year.. The list goes on and on.. but I will truly miss her occasional spur of the moment drop in where she sat on my couch and gossiped.. lol that truly was my favorite thing about her. I love her dearly and will miss her more ♥️

There are a lot of memories I will carry with me of growing up with Mrs. B and the Burlingames. Of course I will always remember the chocolate chip cookies and when Greg was playing football and had to make weight so he had to avoid eating them (would have been impossible for me). Another memory will be her photo albums, I'm sure there is not an occasion missed. One time I needed stitches and Mrs. B was coming to the hospital with me but first I had to come in and have a picture taken of the cut then again after with the stitches. What a wonderful woman. Mrs. B will be missed.
