THE JOYOUS JOY!

Joy Idiaghe Adesina (Nee Ogbebor) was born to the family of Pa Christopher and Madam Rose Ogbebor on May 19, 1976 in Lagos Nigeria. Joy was the second child and second girl amongst 5 other siblings. Joy attended Afolabi Primray School and Bolade Grammar School both in Oshodi, Lagos State Nigeria. Thereafter, she proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State for her tertiary education and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration (HND). Upon completing her HND, she participated in the cumpulsory National Youth Service in Kwara State Nigeria.
Joy relocated to Egbeda Lagos State in 2001 and was a very active member of the choir department in RCCG White Chapel, Oshodi, Lagos. Joy met her industrous husband, Deacon Abimbola Adesina in 2002 at White Chapel and they got engaged in 2003 and married on February 28, 2004. Being beneficiaries of the USA diversity visa lottery, Joy and her husband relocated to New York, USA on December 5, 2005.   
Joy and her husband were blessed with their first daughter, Sharon in 2005 in New York.
In 2007, Joy and her family relocated to Baltimore Maryland on the invitation of their close family friend. In Baltimore, they were further blessed with a boy and a girl; Oluwademilade and Peace. Joy was a very dedicated member of RCCG Higher Ground Assembly Choir where her husband also serves as a Minister and Sunday School Teacher. She was an outstanding Nursing student in Radians College, Washigton DC-where she would have graduated with a Bachelors Degree in December 2015. She was a dedicate staff at Future Care in Randallstown, Maryland.
Joy was infected with cancer in 2014 which was treated and was in remission. Routine medical check-up revealed the presence on lymph nodes in her system in September, 2015. She commenced immediate treatment but deteriorated daily. She submitted to God's will and transitted to the great beyond to be with The Lord in the early hours of Wednesday, November 18, 2015.
Joy touched many lives positively in ways that will perpetuate her memory in their souls and hearts. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, rediance, charm and peaceful nature. She will also be remebered for her favorite statement, "IT IS WELL"
Rest in peace our wife and sister. We shall see at the ressurrection morning. Good Night. Sleep Well till we join you in glory. Adieu!!!
