Mrs. Joyce Ann Adams Roberts,38, of Harker Heights, Texas, formerly of Oconto, Wisconsin died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, January 25, 1994, at Wilford Hall Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. The former Joyce Adams was born February 21, 1955 in Oconto, Wisconsin to  Robert and Gloria (Roewe) Adams. Joyce was a 1973 graduate of Oconto High School. She was employed in child care in Oconto and also was employed by Forward Service  Corporation. On June 8, 1985 Joyce married Morris Phillip Roberts in Harker Heights,Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Morris, her parents Bob and Gloria Adams of
Oconto, Wisconsin, two brothers, Randy of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Fred of
Oconto, Wisconsin, maternal step-grandmother, Evelyn Roewe of Oconto, Wisconsin, one nephew, Andrew of Seymour, CO. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Lyn, in 1989. Visitation was held at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home Friday January 28,1994 from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturdayat 10:00 a.m. at First American Lutheran Church. Funeral service was held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Merle Ries officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, in Oconto, Wisconsin.
