This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joyce Redditt, 81, born on May 6, 1932 and passed away on November 12, 2013. We will remember her forever. We know she is resting now with the angels, family and friends who went before her and watching over us as we make our way to her.  We love you Mom and will miss you so very much until we meet again.

Happy Birthday Mom - I went with friends to dinner tonight and we raised our glasses to you and sang you the birthday song. I miss you so much, I think about you every day and wish I could talk to you again. I know your there but it is harder than I thought not getting to see you or hear your voice. Know you are loved and missed with all my heart. Love you = Dawn

I know she is up there watching - and how proud she is of all of us. I am sure we will have some rough times missing her but her love will carry us through them. I thank God that He saw fit to bless our lives with the fun and craziness of life with her - that he gave me a real Momma and a grandma for our girls. Mom - I miss you so much, your empty chair is so hard to look at, your empty room is too quiet and dark. I hope you know how much I love you and I hope you knew it while you were here. I will do my best and try to keep the flame burning that you started and left for all of us. I love you Mom

Sweetie, I am so sorry for the loss of your MOM. I loved Aunt Joyce as long as I can remember. I have always treasured the time I lived with you two on 18th street. You will always be in my heart. Love you bunches.

Sorry for your loss, Mike. I remember when your mom taught me when frying fish to put an unlit match in the oil and when it flared then the oil was hot enough. That was fun! She also told me at Peppermint Annie's to step up and play drums with conviction. Drive the band and make them follow me. She said "Don't be scared! Play them drums like you mean it!". I still try to heed her advice.

Gods gonna get me for that !!

November 21, 2013

I came home from work to find Mom sitting there with one of our daughters with the funniest look on her face.  She started with "your gonna be mad and Gods gonna get me"  - she told me about one of her dearest friends in the apartments sending her some soup and how she and our daughter both tasted it and did not want to eat it.  They decided to throw it in the garbage disposal and wash the container.  Mom had our girl take the bowl back and tell her it was great - and thank you.  When she had some time to think about it - she figured out it was not cool to teach your grand-daughter to "lie" .  When she was telling me she looked up and said - "I'm going to hell !  I am gonna save you a seat right next to me - you made me keep her so I had to teach her now GODS GONNA GET ME FOR THAT !!!  I can not remember when the tears stopped and I caught my breath - I still laugh when I see the look on her face.
I just told her God was too busy smiling at the love she poured into being a Grandma and he probably did not think twice about  it.

Mama's Little Man

November 17, 2013
One of mom's favorite stories to tell was about taking me to the grocery store with her. I was probably four or five, I was sitting in the cart as mom was about to check out. A man behind us looked at me, smiled, and remarked, "And what's your name, little fellow?" My reply, "Michael David quit that!"
