Joyce R. Stevenson (nee Lambertson) of Voorhees, NJ died on Thursday, Sept 21, peacefully in her sleep.  Joyce was married to Bill Stevenson for 48 years with two children, Cathy Hansell and Jeffrey Stevenson, and four grandchildren:  Brad Hansell, and Alex, Erik and Vaughn Stevenson.  Joyce lived most of her adult live in Cherry Hill, Woodstown, Mullica Hill and Elmer, NJ.

Joyce was born on October 25, 1938 in Woodbury, NJ to Harry Lambertson and Rosetta Gill Lambertson. Joyce lived in Billingsport, with her younger sister Helen.  Joyce graduated from Paulsboro HS, Class of 1956.  As an adult, Joyce earned a BA/MA in Criminal Justice and a MS in Psychology.  She worked as a Camden Country Probation Officer.  Joyce was active in genealogy, and a member of DAR, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, Swedish Colonial Society of Philadelphia and MENSA.

Visitation Thurs. Sept. 28 from 9:30-11 am at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where Joyce’s service will begin at 11 am. Interment is at Eglington Cemetery.
