Judith Ann Schafer 77, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday June 8, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.Celebration of life will be held at Colorado Avenue Baptist Church, 101 Heaton Ave, Dayton Oh, on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

Judy was born August 15, 1941 in Dayton Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Rose Marie O’Boyle.Judy ran her own businesses for several years that included a day care and a cleaning business, in which she took many children into her family and assisted many elderly people. In her later years, she “slowed down” and took a position as a hostess at Bob Evans, where in her style, touched many hearts and made many good friends. 

Judy was a loving mother to five daughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cherished daughter Lisa Schafer, her brother and sister-in-law Bob and Linda O’Boyle, brother-in-law Earl Bingham, her longtime companion Red (Willie Noble) Jackson, ex-husband John Schafer, step son Kenny Jackson, daughter-in-law Carol Jackson and son-in-law Richard Watkins.

She is survived by sisters Kathy (Gary) Bilotto, Diana Bingham, brother Bill O’Boyle, daughters Cathy (Bill) Bailey, Bobbie Watkins, Anna (Doug) Pritchard, Missi (Dave) Osborne, step children Larry Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Brenda Jackson, and her fur baby Abby.  She had 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren that she loved with all of her heart. 

Judy was always quick to help out in a crisis, to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She will be missed by every person’s heart that she touched.
