Judy McCorkle Brogden, 74, a lifelong resident of Wake County passed away Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the home of her daughter.
A native of Durham County the daughter of the late Worth Ishman and Elsie Adams Browning McCorkle. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for forty-two years and retired from J & M Manufacturing in Butner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2014 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by the Rev. Jack Moody. Burial will be in the Creedmoor-Rogers Cemetery in Creedmoor.
Surviving are four daughters; Tammy B. Riley of Oxford, Fran B. Tunstall of Creedmoor, Gina B. Aiken of Wake Forest, Anne Brogden of Mebane, three sisters; Vickie M. Ferrell, Libby M. Green, both of Durham, Cathy M. Hicks of Creedmoor, five brothers; Larry McCorkle, Tommy Joe McCorkle both of Durham, Worth McCrokle Jr. of Oxford, Donald McCorkle of Creedmoor and Gerald McCorkle of Morehead City, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Lionel McCorkle.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 26th, 2014 from 12:30 – 1:45 P.M. prior to the funeral service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times the home of her daughter, Fran Tunstall.
