This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Julia Cobb 103 years old , born on January 18, 1916 and passed away on February 3, 2019. We will remember her forever.

Julia Cobb flew away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2019. She was born January 18, 1916 to Gus and Bertha Thomas in Valdosta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendrick Cobb, her parents, siblings, her daughter, Diane Cobb, and her granddaughter, Marilyn Cobb.

Julia was a faithful member of Greater Revelation Baptist Church until her health declined. Everyone who knew her could tell you how much she truly believed in prayer.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her daughter, Mary Cobb, her grandchildren, Denise (Lavaren), Kenneth (Becky), Mark (Crystal), and Nikki (Cory). She also leaves 18 Great grandchildren and numerous great, great grandchildren whom she prayed for daily.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
