There are no words that would be enough to describe my mom. She was a quintessential woman and one in a million. She summed up the Proverbs 31 woman. In her I saw a diligent, virtuous, beauful and godly woman. I grew up with the consciousness that once I tell my mom what the issue was, she'd get it fixed. Nothing fazes her. She taught me how to be able to stand on my own with my 2 feet. Mom, I would forever cherish the lovely memories we shared together. The consolation we all have is the truth that Chrisans don't die, they only sleep. So I know you're sleeping now. Rest on mom and we'll see in the morning!

Grandma was a soft spoken and a peaceful soul. She would always make clarifications so as not to be misunderstood. She had eyes for details and was the first to always remember everyone's birthday/anniversary. She was a warrior and fighter as she doesn't give in easily. She pushed with all her strength until God called her home to rest.
I still haven't come to terms that you have changed form...Good night Grandma, we shall see in the morning!

I was shocked when I received the news of Mummy's demise. I can't forget her passion and dedication to the things of God then at Winner's Chapel, Ikirun and our Shiloh experience.
It is well. I am short of words but there's assurance that she went to rest. The Lord will strengthen the family at this critical moment
May her soul rest in perfect peace!

We received the news of your passing on to glory with a rude shock; even though you lived a fulfilled life. Our last discussion a day to your demise, never revealed to me that you were on the way to glory. Anyway your good work will stand by you. What is this life self? Full of ephemeral. Infact, it is a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away. We love you but God loves you best by taking you out of pains & aches of this world. Good night while you sleep peacefully in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we all meet at the resurrection day. "Baby Chapiro", Sleep well!

It was a shock to me when I saw the post of our loving grandma as obituary. May her loving and caring soul rest in peace..
It was mama who introduced me to Shiloh, and since then I have been referring to her as "Mummy Shiloh". May God grant her eternal rest and console the family!

I didn't meet mama in person but when I met her son (Mr Olaoye Olumide), in him I saw a son with mother's love at heart with every prescription in his hand at my pharmacy just to ensure mama is fine. Hmmm... Sorry bro for the loss once again. And to Mama, we love you but God loves you more. Rest on in bosom of the Lord Mama.

Her Life

BIOGRAPHY OF DEACONESS JULIANAH TITILAYO OLAOYE

April 23, 2021
(4TH APRIL 1949 – 7TH APRIL 2021)
JULIANAH TITILAYO OLAOYE (NEE OLANIPEKUN) was born into the family of PA EMMANUEL OLANIPEKUN and MADAM THERESSA OLANIPEKUN of Sese’s Compound, Inisha in Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State on the 4th of April 1949. She was the last born in the family of nine.
JULIE, as she was fondly known and called started her education at the age of twelve (12). She started school very late due to the fact that she needed to engage in some forms of trade so she could sponsor herself in school. This was a period when girl-child education was not common, but due to her determination, she went ahead to get western education, against her father’s wish. She attended ST. AUGUSTINE PRIMARY SCHOOL, INISHA from the year 1961 to 1966 where she finished top of her class. She then proceeded to IBADAN PROVINCIAL COLLEGE OSOGBO (as at then) for her GRADE TWO CERTIFICATE education. JULIE was known at the college to be a very brilliant, beautiful and hardworking lady. She was a member of the school’s athletic and relay team where she played an active role. JULIE graduated from GRADE TWO COLLEGE and qualified as a school teacher in the year 1969. Due to her doggedness and determination, JULIE pursued higher levels of education while working as a teacher. She then proceeded to THE POLYTECHNIC IBADAN (Distance Learning Centre) for her NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION (NCE), which she obtained in the year 1984. She also bagged a bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) from the premier university, UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN, through the Distance Learning Programme. JULIE also obtained a LEADERSHIP DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE from the WORD OF FAITH BIBLE INSTITUTE (WOFBI) in Lagos.
JULIE worked in active civil service as a class teacher and rose to the position of a Headmistress at different primary schools both in the defunct OYO STATE and OSUN STATE. Many of her pupils and students are today making waves in different fields of endeavors both in Nigeria and diaspora. JULIE was a disciplinarian and she imbibed good values both in her biological, foster children and the pupils that went through her tutelage. She finally retired from active service in the year 2004 after fulfilling the compulsory 35 years of meritorious civil service.
JULIE got married to her heartthrob PRINCE CHARLES ADELEKE OLAOYE about five decades ago and the union is blessed with six wonderful children. The best legacies JULIE left for her children are; GODLINESS, HONESTY, DILIGENCE and LOVE for people. JULIE, also known as TITIÉ, was known to be a kind and affectionate individual who was selfless and always loved to see people comfortable around her. She possessed an uncommon drive for excellence and had a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
Above all, JULIE was a child of God that loved to be in the service of her Lord, Saviour and Master. She gave her life to Christ in the Baptist Church and rededicated her life to Christ in the year 1997. She also served in various service units in church, such as: Prayer Unit (Afadura Jagun), Women Missionary Union (WMU) of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC), just to mention a few. She was a member of different units at different churches (First Baptist Church, Iragbiji, Dada Estate Baptist Church, Osogbo and Pilgrim Baptist Church, Osogbo). She was also an ordained Deaconess of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel International.
JULIE was a fighter and a warrior and finally heeded her master’s promotion and transition call to glory at the age of 72 on Wednesday, 7th April 2021 at exactly 7:27 PM. We are confident that she’s resting now in heaven with her master and with the innumerable company of angels. Therefore, we take solace in this fact and bless God for the life of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and in-law, DEACONESS JULIANAH TITILAYO OLAOYE (NEE OLANIPEKUN). She lived a life full of impacts and so this is a CELEBRATION OF LIFE, to the glory of God.
TITIÉ, your husband, children, grandchildren, the whole OLAOYE and OLANIPEKUN families, friends and colleagues would miss you so much but we all take solace in the fact that this loss is temporary because we will meet at the feet of Jesus on the resurrection morning.
ADIEU “MAMA LAOLU” and sleep on till we see in the morning!
