Julie, it was an honor and a privilege to have worked with you during my 3rd year of medical school. You were by far one of the most passionate residents I’ve met. Your knowledge and clinical expertise were admirable. Thank you for being an excellent teacher and for taking the time to teach us, even after a long surgery. I will never forget how you taught me how to perform Leopold's Maneuvers, how to write a post-op note, or how to determine if a baby was in cephalic presentation. These are moments I will always cherish.  Besides being an amazing teacher, you were great with patients, showing cultural competency and empathy at every given opportunity.  I will deeply miss you and want to thank you for always believing in me. You touched many lives, and I’m sure your love and passion will ripple in all of those you have taught. My prayers go out to your family…
