Mrs. Hutchins was born in Plainfield, Vermont on June 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Orabelle Florence Foster Chase and Clarence L Sherburn. In the younger years of her working career she was a secretary for the Vermont States Department. After her children were grown their family’s all migrated to Heard County, Georgia where she worked for many years as a certified medical assistant. This was a job that she enjoyed immensely. She took great pride in the fact that she was able to help the elderly. She was a faithful member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchins was a loving mother and grandmother who took great pride in her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Wanda Smith, and Judy Hutchins (Peter) all of Franklin, GA.; one sister, Sharon Bartlett of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Leroy Hutchins.
