I am missing you so much baby, I miss coming to see you at lunch every day and seeing you so handsome in your uniform. I love you always and always on my mind, forever in my heart.
Justice Allen Duke, 19, a resident of Stem, passed away at his residence Friday, September 7, 2012.
A native of Granville County, the son of Frankie Allen Duke and Lisa Jo Brogden, an employee of Valvoline Express Care in Oxford and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Oxford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford. Burial will be in Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Surviving other than his parents are his maternal grandparents, Tommy and JoAnn Brogden of Creedmoor, his paternal grandfather, Herbert Allen Duke of Stem, his aunt, Angela Duke of Stem and two cousins, Trey and Rusty. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen N. Watkins and his great grandmother Hallie B. Travis.
Visitation will be held at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, Monday, September 10, 2012 and other times at the home of Tommy and JoAnn Brogden, Creedmoor, NC.

Thinking of you every minute of every day. I will see you again and we will dance on the clouds to all of our favorite songs just like we did in the kitchen since you were a baby. I know you are having fun and smiling your beautiful smile in heaven and until we meet again you keep doing everything you ever wanted to do. My heart was broken when I learned Justice had passed yesterday. He was bright, kind and a joy to be around. He will be missed dearly. Lisa my heart breaks for you sweetie. Justice was special to me as he was to so many. When he smiled, it was like the sun shining.He had a great sense of humor. We cannot understand when someone so young is taken from us but our memories and faith can bring us peace. This is my prayer for all Justice's family and friends-good memories and peace.

Justice, you were always one of my son's (Tony Lopez) dearest friends. You two spent so much time together you were like brothers. I'll alway's remember your smiling face when you and Tony would go off on another one of your adventures.
