To Tad, Lesley and Sonja and families,
I just learned of this tribute page and wanted to reach out to you.
I was deeply saddened by Tina’s passing. She was so many things:
a quiet, respectful, thoughtful and appreciative lady,
A teacher, mother and wife,
a patient and loving woman who always wore her beautiful smile and
a very kind woman with a very warm heart.
She is missed.

Dear Tad, Lesley, Sonja, and family,

Tina was a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile She was always caring about others and dealt with her own situation with grace. We shared an office at Maplewood and she was a true friend for years. I miss her greatly as I know you do. Lesley thank you for the beautiful slideshow and song, it really showed your Mother's life.
Sending thought's, prayers, and love to you all.

Tina was a colleague of mine for many years and a friend as well.
In our work, when I would question a decision I had to make, Tina, in her quiet, calm way would set me in the right direction.
At a time in my life when I suffered a great sadness, Tina was a steadfast friend who's loving support and kind words helped me heal.
Tina was someone I admired and looked up to. She was a gracious woman, and so it seemed, always looked to the brighter side of life.
To her family , my deepest sympathy .

Dear families of Tina,
The news of Tina's passing brought sadness to my heart for each of you who shared such a special bond with her. I recall how my Mom played matchmaker and introduced Tina to Fred. I am so glad she did! Perhaps I am most grateful on behalf of Sonja, who was gifted such a wonderful, caring, fully committed second mother to journey closely alongside the past thirty or so years. My heart is with you all as you travel this winding road of grief and loss.

Dear Tad, Lesley and Sonja,

My heart hurts as I have just learned of your mom's death.

I began my own career in nursing in 2001 with Tina as my first nursing instructor in the Maplewood LNA program. Even in those short few weeks, I learned much about caring and humility from her.

I will always hold a place in my heart for Tina as she was one of the most influential nurses in my education and practice. She was thrilled last summer to learn that I now work where she began her nursing career.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

With love,

Tim RN-BC, BSN, CHPN
