I am so very sorry for your loss. Our Creator's purpose was for us to live forever, so having to cope with the death of a loved one feels very unnatural. Soon, we will be able to experience the truthfulness of Gods promise "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing" (1 Corinthians 15:26). What better hope than to know that God will very soon bring an end to death and all the pain we face (Revelation 21:4). My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved Kamilah. For additional comfort from the scriptures, I invite you to please visit www.JW.org.

I want to offer my condolences to the Miller family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death__ regardless of how long they have lived. Death is so painful that even Jesus, when Lazarus died, "gave way to tears"(John 11: 35). Our heavenly Father of tender mercies has given us comfort through the scriptures. He calls death an enemy and will be taken away forever(1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8). Look at this promise he has given to awaken our love one back to life in the near future. Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” I hope these words give you comfort and hope.
