She is survived by her husband Dale Williams, her children Bryan Williams and wife Mandi, daughter Wendy Buendel and husband Craig, their children Linley and Lane, and daughter Megan Williams.

Karen was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Her heart of gold was seen through her charitable actions and acts of kindness. She was a Nurse who impacted the care of so many lives during her career.

Karen had such an infectious laugh. I remember flying down with Karen to visit Wendy in West Palm Beach. We hadn’t seen each other in several months so there was a lot to catch up on. We were so excited that we didn’t realize half the plane could hear our conversation. When a nice man told us how loud we were being we apologized and simmered down. Tears of laughter started pouring from her face and then my tears of laughter started too. We couldn’t stop bursting out into laughter for days. Catching up with a loved one can really make you forget about everything else in the world. I cherish all of the moments I had with Karen, she was a bright star in my life.

Karen and I will be forever joined together in the love of our children and grandchildren. She and I became first-time grandmothers together on 12/18/13 when our beautiful Linley entered this world. I sat nervously in the waiting room of the hospital while Karen stayed in the birthing room helping Wendy and Craig through the process. And again on 11/1/15 we rejoiced together when Lane was born. I'll never forget the two reveal parties and how excited we were together with the knowledge that we would share both a granddaughter and grandson. Karen "KiKi" will protect and watch over our babies from heaven and that gives me great comfort. I will always remember to give them double hugs and kisses from the two of us. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I love this family. Karen and I spend many, many nights together all over the state traveling with our gymnastics daughters. They were best friends and fierce competitors. We adored watching them perform. Karen was so supportive of Megan and glowed when she was on balance beam, floor and bars. Megan was amazing .. Really...and it was what Karen and I loved to do.. Be their mom ... Help them through tough times and there were a few....and be there when they shined.. And they did.!!!! She was Megan's biggest fan.. Well Dale too ...but we moms kinda lived through them and were so proud of them.. It made our day to see them happy and living life. She was the best!!!! Love you all ... We have some awesome memories ... And great pictures!!! Thinking about all of you and praying for all of you ...
