IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET THE SHARON FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF RETIRED MEMBER/ENGINEER KARL GOLDEN SENIOR. CALLING HOURS WILL BE WEDNESDAY FROM 5 TO 8 PM AT KENNY FUNERAL HOME IN SHARON. THE SERVICES WILL BE THURSDAY AT 11 AM AT ST MARYS CATHOLIC CHURCH IN LAKEVILLE WITH A BURIAL TO FOLLOW. ANY DEPT MEMBERS WISHING TO ATTEND CALLING HOURS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT THE SHARON FIREHOUSE AT 645 PM WEDNESDAY EVENING IN FULL DRESS UNIFORM. ANY MEMBERS ATTENDING THE SERVICES ON THURSDAY ARE ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH AT 1030 AM IN FULL DRESS UNIFORM.

My father was one of a kind. He had a big heart and would do anything for his family. He worked hard to provide for all of us. My father was a man that never asked for anything in return. When my father got sick 2 mo ago it turned our world upside down. My father was diagnosed with Liver Cancer that took him at the age of 80, my father never complained of any pain during his sickness. All of  his 5 children including his wife of 51 yrs stayed by his side until god saw fit to take him on July 5, 2014. Our life hasn't been the same. We miss  him dearly and I ask God why did u have to take my father so soon, we weren't ready to let him go but we had no choice god had another plan.  Your memory lives on in all of us Daddy but it's not the same. My wish is to  tell u how much I love u and to give u a kiss one more time! R.I.P Daddy until we see each other again.
