My darling Karl went through an early life which many of us would not imagine.  He and his parents left Germany in 1940 and were thankful to make a new home in the US.  Life before 1940 was terrible for a youngster and then in 1943 he went into the US Army and served in the South Pacific theater.  Through the horrors he and other servicemen suffered, Karl became a very kind, caring, loving person to his family, friends and co-workers.  I was blessed when God chose to bring us together and we enjoyed a most wonderful life which I wish for everyone to experience.  My love grows each day and will be there through to eternity.
