This was a little over a decade ago. We were walking up thiis one street and there was one of those work trucks with a ladder on it. Underneath that there was a hose on the ground. The first time walking by it Karyn stepped over the hose but hit her head on the ladder. An hour later she ducked the latter but tripped over the hose. I just kept on walking around the truck.

Karyn and I used to find it necessary to walk through downtown West Bend to get from one place to another. The reason was simple. It was the egg rolls. Mom's purse made regular donations (sorry mom...please forgive our petty theft) so that we could sample the Chinese cuisine that West Bend had to offer.
