The daughter of Mrs. Betty J. Feagin Jefferson and the late Major Jefferson, Jr., Mrs. Beasley was born in Lee County, AL and was a 1979 graduate of Hardaway High School. She was a member of Word of Revelation Ministries where she served as an Usher, Prayer Intercessor and as a Armour Bearer. She was employed with the Muscogee County School System as a Food Service Technician at Allen Elementary School.

Survivors include: her husband of 29 years, Mr. John Beasley; a son, Andrew Beasley; two brothers, Pastor Terry Jefferson (Pastor Mary) and Melvin Jefferson (Rosetta), two sisters, Debbie Donnelly and Quinyeta Seldon (Derrick); nieces and nephews, Tiffany Jefferson, Lativia Jefferson, Terry J. Jefferson (Andris) and Cameron Lewis; loving aunts and uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
