Kathleen Regina Reilly Baumiester passed away peacefully at home on Thursday May 14th, 2020 surrounded by her family at the age of 91. Kathleen was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and Nana. She dedicated her life to helping and caring for others, serving as a nun in the Sisters of Christian Charity in Mendham NJ for eleven years while teaching 7th grade underprivileged students. After the convent, Kathleen obtained her LPN license to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. Most of all, Kathleen was the most compassionate and loving wife, mother, and Nana.
The love and charity that she gave to this world will live beyond her lifetime and will be carried on by her family. Although Kathleen has left the physical world, she is with us in spirit and we take comfort knowing that she is reunited with the love of her life, her Bill.
Kathleen is pre-deceased by her loving husband William J. Baumiester and her two sisters Peg Vandenberg and Josephine Sugg. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Pollock and Kelley McRory, her five grandchildren Bridget McRory, Daniel McRory, Jimmy Pollock, Shannon McRory, and Samantha Pollock, her sons-in-laws Jim Pollock and Kerry McRory, her sister Helen Reynolds and many family, friends, and dogs.
Due to COVID and the safety of family and friends, no formal memorial service will be held. Kathleen will be buried with her husband at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
