Kathryn Beatrice Drain, 87, of Woodstown, NJ, passed away on June 5th 2020 in Cooper Hospital-Camden, NJ.

Memorial service and remembrance will be held at 2pm Saturday June 27th at 117 Old Burlington Rd.,  Bridgeton NJ (large indoor arena with social distancing adhered to). Burial will be at a later date for immediate family.

Kathryn was born in Porchtown, NJ to Morrell and Katherine Langley on January 24th 1933. She attended school in Franklinville, NJ, but following her father’s death went to work fulltime at Crown Clothing in Vineland, NJ where she worked for 25 years as a seamstress. Kathryn loved country music as did most of her family and will always be remembered for her wonderful voice and singing for everyone at family and social functions, she also loved to do interior design and flower arranging which was a part-time business for her once she retired.  Another of Kathryn`s loves was traveling with her husband Bob to exotic islands and in the winter skiing and enjoying the mountains. Family was extremely important to Kathryn from helping to care for her mother to grandchildren, she was always there to lend a hand.  She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her and forever loved and never forgotten.

Kathryn is preceded in death by Robert Drain, her loving husband of 45 years.  Also, Milton John Byrum her previous husband.

Kathryn is survived by her sisters Dorothy Renshaw of Newfield, NJ and Jane Pennal of Woodstown, N , her daughter Karen (Byrum) Mokuau and son-in-law Butch, Son Milton James Byrum (Buster) and daughter-in-law Pam , grandchildren Andrea Garcia, Michelle Garcia, Cynthia Thompson, Irene White, and Cody Byrum great grandchildren Shawn Thompson, Lucas Hamby, Ambriel Thompson, Jayden Thompson and Emily Adams.

Memorials may be given to : Miracles on Hooves & Equine Assisted Therapy, 117 Old Burlington Rd., Bridgeton, NJ 08302 

The family of Kathryn Drain wish to extend our sincere thanks to Cooper Hospital ICU/CCU Doctors and Nurses for their extreme care and consideration of the well being of their mother and thoughtfulness to the family during this terrible loss.
