Kathy was an absolute light in everyone's life. I met her through her daughter Rebecca about a decade ago when I was going through a particularly hard time in my life. It was her encouragement and kindness that helped me through a career transition as well as an understanding to repair my relationship with my own mother. I will always be grateful for both the energy she shared with all around her, and the welcoming I immediately felt when entering her home. Her loss is felt deeply by all those who loved her, but her memory and essence continues to shine on in her family. She leaves a legacy of hope for anyone who has had the privilege of having known her.

Kathy was a woman with the patience of Job. She loved my pal Jonas through thick and thin. She was an amazing talented artist who painted the most beautiful piece of art in my home. She had a heart of gold and I will miss her happy face.
