Life
Life
What would Kathy say to us about Life? about Work? We all know she was a workaholic and at times her life revolved around her work. But we also know that Kathy loved her family and close friends deeply and those were her most cherished memories.
In the New Testament:
James 4:13-15
13Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit." 14Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that."…
Kathy was here on this earth just a very short time, too short...one thing she had so wanted to do with the Regional Managers was to take us all on a road trip, not for work, but just plain fun. But, work took precedent and we never made that road trip. I am sure not only she, but we All wished we would have had that 'fun' time with her.
I think Kathy would tell us to take more time to enjoy friends and family more. We think we have all the time in the world, but like the scriptures tell us 'life is but a vapor'. Take the time, make the time to run barefoot in the grass dampened by the morning dew!
The Old Testament states in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
