Kathy was one of our little group at CWT. I met her in 1970. We all shared a special bond and have remained friends all these years though most of us no longer worked together by the late 1970s. We still get together and think of Kathy often. Always in our hearts.

Dear Kathy,
I came to know you when you were the aid in my son Michael ‘s Kindergarten class. You would tell me how much you loved him and I could always tell by the way you took such great care of him... always loving and kind! Who knew years later we would become partners in RP! We had many great memories working together! You were always willing to do anything for me! Even stand on top of tables to decorate our classroom and yes... you were sweating!!And yes, I know.... you wouldn’t even do that for Tom! I really did rate high! I loved sharing lunch time and playing scratch offs. We hardly ever won , but that Helen always sure did! We became good friends over the years and I will miss you. My love and prayers for you, Tom and Elaina. RIP

Dear Tom, Elena and Helen,
Carmine and I are so very sorry for your loss. Kathy was one of the first people I got close to at CWT when I started in 1970. Although we haven’t seen her in recent years, she was never out of the hearts and minds of her CWT friends. We had so many laughs over the years that cemented our friendship, from being in a play with her (thanks to Madeline Castellotti), to sitting next to her when she came back to CWT, to our mini-CWT reunions that we cherished. When we all got together, it was as if we’d seen each other the day before and no time had passed. She was funny and warm and so strong. I’m sure you now have Kathy as a champion in heaven looking out for her family as she did when she was with you here. Love, Pat and Carmine

My Sweet Friend,
For the past 20 years, my life has been made sweeter, richer, better by having you in it. St. Veronica School brought our kids together first, and then brought us together. We were blessed to watch our kids grow up there, to be a part of it all too. You loved what you did and it showed. You loved those little ones like your own. I am grateful that our friendship remained after our time at SVS ended. We had many great years, some were extra special! I will always remember the fundraiser you and Tom did for SVS, the Rock& Roll Night, we danced all night long, it was so much fun... and then you did it again the following year! I'll always remember you, me, Valerie, Theresa, passing in the hallways or the office, always bringing a smile to each other. We were blessed to have each other in our daily lives. It's those times that I know I'll keep close to my heart to help me through. Lord, please watch over Tom, Elana, Mrs. O'Keefe, and all those whom keep Kathy closest in their hearts.  Love you, My Beautiful Friend, "KaKa".. RIP..I miss you already.. Like the song goes... "We get by with a little help from our friends"

Kathy,
You and I shared many laughs over the years as co-workers at St. Veronica School (In spite of your your love of “Tutti Ta!”!) But, our friendship really grew exponentially over the past few years. Your courage, your strength, and your sense of humor in the worst of times inspired everyone who had the privilege to call you “friend”. I will miss your friendship dearly, but I know that you are always just a prayer away. I have no doubt that you will wrap your arms around Tom, Elena and your mom in the next few days, weeks and months ahead. Rest easy, my friend. No one deserves it more. Love and miss you already...until we meet again.

I knew Kathy from sending my girls to St. Veronica School and being on the on the PTA. What a beautiful light she was in this world! She was so good to my girls and they felt her kindness and love. I remember visiting the Kindergarten classroom and finding my daughter Olivia in her lap comforting her. I knew she was in good hands. She always made me smile with her sense of humor and stories. She always had a smile even when she was dealing with not being well. She used to visit us in the cafeteria at the end of the day to get a pretzel or just say hi. She is surely an angel now. Although i haven't t seen her in recent years we were Facebook friends and I will miss her. Sending love and prayers to the Liquori family.

In honor of Kathy

November 4, 2019
We had many great times and fun memories with the girls at CWT, one of whom was Kathy. When I first started working there, she was wearing a neck brace, had curly shoulder length hair and she was so adorable.  She later told me that she had been in a car accident - it was raining and the car somehow skidded and turned over and she said the last thing she remembered was “cover your face, Kathy”.  The car, a Camaro if I remember correctly, was totaled, but she miraculously came out with a neck injury that healed quite quickly. She befriended me when I first started working at CWT and she took me under her wing.  She was part of a friendly group of girls who played a card game called Milles Bornes every day at lunchtime.  She taught me how to play and every day I looked forward to getting together with them to play.  I remember when Paul McCartney and Wings were coming to NY for a concert and Kathy and I decided we just had to have tickets for that concert so we left work and went over to Jon Wanamakers’ store which was right across the street from work and we stood in line for well over 2 hours to try to get tickets - to find out we were the last two people on line who were able to buy the last 6 tickets for the show!  Oh, how excited we were.  There were many, many other good times Kathy and I had and it came to be that wherever you saw Kathy at work, I was right there with her. Every time our supervisor would move secretaries into new areas, Kathy and I would always be roomies together!  She and the girls introduced me to Broadway shows, among other things.  I remember when they went to see Godspell - Phyllis would sing and dance in the office!  Oh, if only our supervisor knew what went on!  I looked forward to going to work every day with these girls!

This friendly group of girls kept in touch throughout the years, having reunions every now and some of us moved out of the area but we always managed to stay in touch with each other. The first reunion we had was at Pat’s house in NY.  Since I drove up from VA, Kathy graciously invited me to stay at her home since it would be an easier commute to return home from and made me feel quite at home.  From that point on, we all tried to reunite more often, either staying at one another’s home or going to AC.  One reunion was celebrated at Long Beach Island, one of Kathy’s favorite places.  We all had a great time.

I will always remember her beautiful smile and a great sense of humor and her love for her family was undeniable.  She will be greatly missed, but I know that she is at peace now and does not have to suffer any longer.

I love you, Kathy, and will never, ever forget you
