I remember Kathy Hatfield from 1983.  She gave me words of encouragement about the funeral business.  She always encouraged me to become a funeral director.  She gave me excellent guidance and great words of wisdom.

Kathy Hatfield was a unique lady.  She always had a story to share about everybody.  She loved life to the fullest and she especially enjoyed sharing stories about others.  She always kept up with the latest stories on everyone in the funeral business.  She enjoyed sharing stories about other funeral directors and people involved in the funeral business.  She was always kind and compassionate.  She was always willing to help others.  She would go above and beyond to help anyone.  She later loved working at Belfry Floral.  She could be found at the flower shop most every day.  She was a great floral designer and really enjoyed the customers.  Kathy was one in a million - a gifted story teller, an excellent floral designer, and a caring funeral director.  Kathy was someone who made you feel at home.  Always a lady and always kind - that is how Kathy will be forever remembered.
