Tributes
Leave a tributeI miss you, I miss my Grandpa too! I know your in heaven, you passed away when I was seven. Before the cancer, I remember your beatiful blond hair, and the way you held me with such sweet care. Without you I feel adrift, I remember my very last gift. It's so unfair my heart is torn. Yes, I miss you and my grandpa too.

Please be patient.
The Sunflower
There's one thing I will always remember. Two things. One, before the cancer, I remember asking Grammy her favorite color. I held her hand. Laying right next to her. Yellow, Grammy said. I barley could hear her. That's one of the last things I heard her say. "Yellow." Well, I've always kept yellow in my mind. At her funeral I got to pick one flower out of a bunch of flowers my mom bought for Grammy. I picked the flower that was the most brilliant. The bright YELLOW sunflower. Right before they put the casket in grammy's grave, I placed the yellow sunflower on her casket. Right in the middle. I couldn't cry. What's the point! She's in the best place anyone could go. Why should you be sad. Your not saying bye to Grammy, your saying see you later, in the future. God doesn't want us to cry. I can't say I'm perfect though. I cry everyday.
MacDonalds
When my sister and I were little, we would ALWAYS want to eat at McDonalds for lunch! My grandma loved us so much she'd take us there, even if she didn't want to eat there.
Now in Texas, there are cows everywhere! Not cows that are real and go moooo- no, cows that are statues. Where my grandmother lived, there was a cow statue at almost every single building, (but not houses).
Well, at McDonalds, there were TWO cows, AND ONE OF THEM WAS A BABY! Grammy would always stop of at McDonalds to play with them. I’d ride the baby one, (because I’m in love with anything that’s a baby) and my sister would ride the eldest one.
My Grammy would watch us, with a little giggle. I will never forget her laughs. She will always be with me in my heart, this I know.
