Kay was a treasure in all respects. Extremely social, helpful, interested, reliable, and just one of the best people in most other people's lives. Always cheerful, informative, and so very aware of what was going on in the neighborhood, and other resident's lives. There are very few people of her stature, and it was an honor to know her. She will be sorely missed by all of the many friends, relatives, and people whose lives she touched. She was literally in a class by herself. Jim Behrens, 4520 Sweetwater Lake Drive.

Kay, dear Kay, had a big heart and lots of love for people. She was an extremely bright lady who could cover a lot of topics easily. What we planned for an hour visit usually turned into two or more hours. She loved books and often shared some with me. Kay was my proof-reader for things I wrote; as an English major, she could spot an error or a poorly arranged sentence in a second. At our Condo Association she had a mind that could remember business going back twenty years; she was the "maven" for our community. I will miss her so much.   Love, Susan Schubert

Dear Kay

I miss you and think of you frequently.  You, with your bright mind was always reading and passing on books to others.  You, with your bright mind was always questioning the HOA about the money and how they are spending it and asking where is the surplus, why is it missing on this report?  or why is the surplus down?  It used to be $XXXX.  You were a sharp lady and I loved chatting with you.  We kept the board and reports in line.
Now I am on the board, doing the books and we are doing well.  When I'm balancing or doing such things with the books and records, I often think of you.
You were a blessing to me.
Love, Susan
