His Life

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

February 4, 2016

Adekayode Abdul  fondly called ”Sir K” or ” Oba” , was born to the family of Chief Adekunle and Mrs Olabisi Abdul on the 11th of September 1978.  He was one of sixteen siblings.

He attended Atlantic Hall Int’l school for his high school and the University of Lagos after which he moved to the United Kingdom. While there, he was a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (City of David), Dartford, UK; actively involved with the media department and youth ministry of the church.

Upon his return to Nigeria in 2014 he joined Global Harvest Church, Lagos and served as a member of the choir (NEW WINE).  He will affectionately be remembered as OBA for the role of the ‘king’ played in the traditional carol of 2015.

Kayode was an IT software specialist, a budding venture capitalist with a passion for real estate, and an unrepentant Chelsea Football Club fan.

He will always be remembered for his huge sense of humour, his love for life, his generosity and large heart. Friend to both young and old, an awesome son, fun uncle, beloved brother and loyal friend.  He will be greatly missed.

So long ‘Sir K’, it was a great privilege and honour to be part of your life!
