Word are rather in adequate to describe the VACUUM your demise has created.
Throughout history - many great men of VALOUR have been honoured for their character and service to humanity in their community - Daddy you deserve this honour and accolade in appreciation to your dedication to entire family and people around you.

My deep condolence goes the family of Uncle Kehinde Fadahunsi. I've known him with Aramide for many years and I'm so lucky to have hosted him in Abuja once.
His level of humility is something else despite his age difference, he interacted easily with us. I will miss him dearly but I know he is resting in the bossom of the Lord Almighty.
My God will grant him smooth passage into eternity. Sleep on Uncle in peace.

Engr. Fadahunsi, your tenacity, passion and love will be sorely missed. I recall when I wanted to go for my masters in the UK, baba called me and told me that I must come back to Nigeria upon concluding my studies as the country needs people like me. Baba, who I met through my boss, Ayodele Akintunde SAN, went as far as giving me a book about the history of Ilesha and how my family was involved in protests against unfair government policies to show me why people like me cannot abandon Nigeria. To follow up with this, baba came from London to Birmingham just to encourage me to come back after my masters!

I remember that after coming back he tried to get me briefs to keep me going ...

I can never forget you baba Fadahunsi. I am still in shock that a man like you can come all the way to visit me even in the UK.

May baba’s soul Rest In Peace and May the Almighty grant the family he has left behind the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.

Dear Baba Fadahunsi, I remember you well enough to recall your gentle and easy-going approach to life on the sparse occasions I would come to your place on the Island to hang out with Dele.

You indeed lived a life of service, and now that the Lord has called you home, I pray God's continued peace and blessings for the family.

Rest on in Christ's perfect peace.

February 16, 2021
I pray for peaceful rest for your soul Baba Fadahunsi.
You were one of those Soldiers of Christ who fought doggedly but without the associated noise.
You couldn't do enough to help others both at work and at church.
Your fight for life was symbolic when the Lord miraculously delivered you from the great Nitel Fire in the 80's as there was so much he had in store for you to accomplish.
You lived a life of service and have now been called to rest.
Do rest well.
May the lord bless your memory and the family you have left behind.

Engr Fadahunsi was a father figure to me when i became a member of the foremost club, Ilesa social Elite. I served with him as the general secretary of the club when he was the President

A workaholic person that pays attention to details. He grillled me and made me a better secretary. The knowledge i gained while working with him has contributed a lot and me a better person as an opinion moulder

He lived a simple and spartan lifestyle, even though comfortable

May God give the family the fortitide to bear this irreparable loss. The grace of God will not leave the entire family member he left behind

May his soul rest in perfect peace, Amen

Our dear Uncle, Engr Kehinde Fadahunsi was passionate about the Larger Faodi Fadahunsi family issues. He was a bridge builder who related with the younger generation effortlessly.

I got closer to him, when one of our Uncle in the UK died last year. He spares no effort in making sure that he was not buried like someone without a family. Baring all odds he goaded and rallied everyone to make sure we did our best to get him buried honourably.

We thank God for his selfless service to family and the larger community.

I commiserate with Delenand his siblings. May the Lord grant him eternal peace in heaven. Amen.

Adieu.

Hmmm daddy....its taken this long to process the news of your passing. You were always there for all of us.
I remember the days of Elias Close so well 'cause it was second home to me; that was my holiday destination. You treated us as yours. During my wedding you always called to ask how the prep was going, you even contributed so much to the event.
I thank you so much for every memory. You visited me in Abuja and even the UK. You were always present in every phase of my life. Thank you for the friendship with my parents. This hit baba Sanni so hard we didn't believe. You were my mum's to-go-to....hmmmm.
Rest well in the bossom of the Almighty. We will cherish you always and continue with the torch of friendship that you kept burning between the families.

Love you always,

It is an honour to write an eulogy about Engr. Kehinde Ayoola Fadahunsi. I wish I were at his 90th birthday party delivering a speech about him instead of writing a tribute for his funeral.

I had known Engr. Kehinde Ayoola Fadahunsi at a very young age when my dad, also late, was building one of his houses. But I got to know him better when he and his wife Mrs Christiana Fadahunsi welcomed me into their home in January, 1994 to live with them and complete my education after the demise of my dad.

Ever since, I had known him to be a caring father, guidance, counsellor and mentor. He sponsored me through my final class in Secondary school and tertiary institution. He was supportive in all areas, always ready to help and guide. He showed understanding at all times and never minced words. He also supported me in my business greatly. I and my husband were really fond of him as he gave my husband a nickname. He was really fun to be with.

Old age was not a barrier for him. Even at old age, he was zealous for the Lord, energetic, forgiving and interactive.
The Lord took him on the day of the Lord. God makes no mistake s. He was a special of the Lord. A caring father who used to pray for his children. He would tell me each time we spoke on phone that he always prayed for me.

He was my chitchat partner. I will always miss our chats, jokes and laughter. His last statement keeps echoing in my ears till date. He said, he was a winner, he was coming out strong.
Indeed, daddy, you are a winner.
Rest on daddy...

Adieu daddy
Adieu my mentor
Adieu my friend
Adieu great man of God.

Your death came to me as a rude shock. You played the role of a father to me after the demise of my father. I remembered how you danced at my wedding. You held my hands down the aisle and handed me over to my husband with great joy. The last time I spoke with you, you were cheerful and full of life. You were a great man, caring, funny, and lively. Thank you for sharing the family history with me in details. We sure had great few moments together. We laughed at your jokes and your story telling.

So much to write but I can only pray that you find eternal rest in the bosom of God. Sleep well daddy. Till we meet again at the feet of Jesus. Rest In Peace

Adieu my hero, my benefactor, a great uncle and father who loved, cared and supported me till his last day. I will forever be grateful to you. I am already emulating your legacies by loving and upholding the Values of the SUNMONU FADAHUNSI FAMILY, which you had groomed me for. Your last words to me two days to your demise on your sick bed when you said, "Rafiu, ask me any questions about family. I love you.” It meant a lot to me because it reaffirmed your love for me.
Thank you Daddy for all you did for me. You will forever be missed and remembered. May God be pleased with you. Ameen
