The Flood Gates have opened

September 22, 2015

The flood gates opened the moment I entered this site and heard Keith`s favorite Beatles song playing. What a perfect tribute to such a special man.
I am positive he would be so proud of all of you for doing this.
I am sending the gentlest of hugs to you, Bronwyn and Andrea, and to all of his family.  Thank you Karen for finding me.

One of the things I loved so much about Keith was his Love and devotion to his Family.  The stories he shared with me were endless, of growing up with all of you.  I especially Love the Green milk story. The Auntie alligator story was a favorite too, OH, and the day Grandpa arrived with the roof of his car demolished.

I once had the opprotunity to tell him that I felt honored to know him and call him friend. I truly do feel that way.
OH , how sad I am this day!  I will miss you Forever Dear One!   and I am so so sooooo  sorry

Green Milk

February 6, 2015

We did not have a lot of money growing up. Mom was a social worker, and Dad was an elementary school teacher. Much of the time, we used powered milk instead of the fresh milk we now take for granted.

When we did get fresh milk, my brother was eager to get his share. He used to try dyeing the milk different colors with food coloring so that my sister and I would be less likely to drink it.

I particularly remember the color green.

Bronwyn

Pregnant with Keith (Little Keith)

February 4, 2015

This is Andrea, David (Bronwyn's first husband and Little Keith's father) and Big Keith. They are making fun of how big Bronwyn's belly is, so this was Christmas 1988.

Later, when the Keith's played DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online) together, they would shorten the nicknames to lk and bk (for Little Keith and Big Keith).

Palo Alto Apartment. Neighborhood destroyed

February 4, 2015

This is a photo Keith posted online. This was his favorite Lucky's store which was torn down. It was behind his apartment complex in Palo Alto where he lived for many years until the last few months. In the last few weeks, when we visited, he was still very upsest about what had happened to his old neighborhood.
