At 11pm it will be 6 years years since we said good bye, i went to benidorm this weekend & you were on my mind. Rod Stewart tribute was singing which made me think of you, I got a little lost getting back to the hotel & a lady called Sandra helped me find my way & I then knew you were with me. I felt close to you on the plane today being in the clouds. Ethan read half a book tonight & Millie is doing well with her spellings. I know you are guiding Dylan, hes growing into a young man now. You missed another big moment, Teddy was baptised.
Teddy is growing up so fast. He keeps trying to crawl and he is only 5 months. His eyes are so much like yours, very blue and so expressive. It's as if you're looking back at me. I will make sure I teach him the word 'daddeeeee' in the right tone that you would smile at and roll your eyes.
I could have done with your help this weekend. We had a 'mahoosive' spider in our bathroom. When John tried to catch it (as he doesn't like to kill them) it jumped backwards and nearly landed on his hand. I dont know which one was more scared. We've ended up spraying bug killer. You would have sorted it out. It's the little things eh?
Please keep a watch over mum. She tries so hard every day and it can be such a struggle. She misses you all the time and is lonely.
