He was born Keith Roland Benjafield on 18The September 1950 to Mother Joan and Dad Tony Benjafield. Dad was one of 3 brothers, Tony his eldest brother and Derek his younger brother. His parents separated and each of his parents went on to have another 3 sons each whoch makes Dad one of 9 brothers!!!

Dad met and married my mum Kathleen Shockledge on August 23rd 1968 and I 'Tara' appeared on 1st March 1969, followed by Hayley on 4th September 1970, Scott 1st July 1973 and finally Zoe 6th February 1975.

Dad was a funny guy who didnt take life too seriously always joking, laughing and messing about, but even considering that he had a great job. He was Chief Draughtsman at Isis, he started at the bottom and worked his way up

I remember walking to Isis to go see Dad at work, I used to love sitting at his drawing board and chatting to his work mates, one that sticks out is Pete Merrick.

Dad loved his music, loved the Beatles, I remember going to his house and he made new covers for all his records and they were all colour co-ordinated and in alphabetical order. So neat and tidy. I remember staying with him and he would have the telly turned down but his music on in the morning, before he went to work.
