Keith Bernard Smith was born December 7, 1954 in Birmingham, AL. He was the seventh child of Edward and Carrie Smith. He confessed Christ at an early age at Fourth Avenue Baptist Church, under the guidance of Reverend Clyde Fluker. He was a member until his demise. Keith served in the United States Marines as a Staff Sergeant for 8 years. He also served his community by coaching little league baseball, football, basketball, and soccer.
Keith leaves to cherish his memories, his wife - Jessie and two sons (Dustin and Verrick), and one daughter (Kashawnda); two sisters - Jacqueline Lacy (Oscar) of Detroit Michigan; Shelia Watkins of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Stanley Smith (Alice) of Jacksonville, FL; 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
